Tom Brady

An impossible game of catch. Footballs flying straight at a drone. A flamethrower on a waterfront lawn. Our work with Tom Brady takes familiar sports imagery somewhere unexpected, using visual effects to push the action beyond what the camera captured.

The collection spans NOBULL, FTX, and Tom Brady’s viral trick shot. From CG footballs and a digital throwing machine to fire and melting ice, each project gives an unlikely idea a convincing place in live action.

NOBULL

NOBULL

Precision in flight

The camera chases the pass. The football takes exactly the right line. For NOBULL, we replaced the real balls in drone footage with 3D animated footballs, shaping each flight around the moving camera. That gave every throw the angle and timing the shot needed while keeping Brady’s performance at the center.

FTX

FTX Flamethrower

Turning up the heat

A football would have been the obvious prop. This time, Brady brought a flamethrower. For the crypto exchange FTX (yes that FTX), we created the VFX for a reveal in which he melts away a block of ice to uncover a giant Bitcoin. Fire, smoke, and melting ice turn a quiet waterfront lawn into a very different kind of demonstration.

Real or fake?

A game of catch with a JUGS machine had the internet asking one question: real or fake? Working with director Ari Fararooy, we built the machine in CG and helped turn Brady’s throws into a physically impossible rally. The finished film keeps the casual feel of a practice-field clip, with just enough precision to make the whole thing suspicious.

Within hours of Tom posting it, the video had gone viral. News outlets and celebrities shared it, Joe Rogan talked about it, and the debate kept spreading. With more than 100 million views across social platforms, one unlikely game of catch became a very public argument about what was real.
