For the release of the latest version of their famed baseball cleat, the 4040v5, New Balance came to us with the need for quick loopable social ads. Through collaborative brainstorming, we eventually landed on the idea of “split screens” coming together to form a single image. The idea of showcasing an “impossible to film” shot was exciting from a creative and advertising perspective.

In order for precise control over the “impossible” split screen camera movements, we opted to do the ads entirely animated. Being fully CG, we decided to use photogrammetry scanning to achieve a high level of realism in the product. The end result was something never seen before! Scroll down to check it out.
